  4.              you now have before you the second version of qmenu.
  5.  
  6.   i've learned my lesson folks,...THIS time i've made some menus that
  7.   are REALLY worth looking into and using on youe wildcat!3.52 bulletin
  8.   board system!!!.... F'SHORE!!!!!
  9.  
  10.   what you'll find here is three (count'em 3) complete, integrated menu
  11.   systems. each separate system includes 3 menus for security levels 5
  12.   and 9,..as well as a sysop9 menu  which makes for a total of 7 menus
  13.   per complete system.

  15.   if you're operating a wc! system i imagine that you're sharp enuff to
  16.   be able to figure out just what is what by the names of each file....
  17.  
  18.   BUT,.....just in CASE....i'll give you a bit of a rundown of the naming
  19.   system i used:

  21.                   352mn5a.ans  means that this file is for ver 3.52 of
  22.                                WC!.  the mn refers to the fact that this
  23.                                is the "MAIN" menu..  the 5 designates that
  24.                                it is the level 5 security screen..  and
  25.                                the a shows that it is part of set "A".
  26.                  352fyl9b.ans  again the 352 relates to ver 3.52...
  27.                                the "fyl" shows that it is a "file" menu
  28.                                the 9 designates security level 9 screen
  29.                                the "b" reflects that it is for set "b"
  30.                  352msg9c.ans  same stuff except the msg means message
  31.                                menu
  32.                  352ssp9a.ans  this being the sysop menu for set "A"
  33.  
  34.    all of the screens will automatically display your boards name,
  35.    the sysop's name, the conference that the menu is used in, date,
  36.    time, users time on-line, and users time left for the day.

  38.    in addition the sysops menus display total files, total calls,
  39.    and total users.

  41.    again,....here goes the pleading part:

  43.             the reason i've been doing these screens is that for reasons
  44.             that we need not go into here, i cannot charge any fees for
  45.             access to my bulletin board system, but i REALLY would like
  46.             to upgrade to a 9600 baud modem.  wellllllll, i'm hoping
  47.             that enuff of you folks will use these menus AND feel guilty
  48.             sufficiently to send me a about 1.37 pittances so that i'll
  49.             soon have the wherewithall to get one of those zingers!!

  51.             my first batch of menus were nice looking, but i realized
  52.             soon that for anyone to use them on THEIR system they'd
  53.             have to do a bunch of editing to be usefull to them.
  54.             these menus can go right into your system with only a
  55.             single "rename" step...
  56.  
  57.             if you DO want to honor me with a small contribution
  58.             (nothing less than a penny please)..i would be happy
  59.             to send you a copy of any new menu sets that i've created
  60.             as well as my own "ultimate sysop menu"  which has ALL the
  61.             data displayed that it is possible to cram into a sysop
  62.             screen without the use of blunt instruments.

  65.   so try out these screens, feel EXTREMELY guilty, and send me that
  66.   that pittance i mentioned.....OR a 9600 baud external modem would
  67.   be nice too!!  i'm not too proud to ask!!!

  70.               to use and enjoyable for your users. even iff'n you
